The Helsinki Cup – a premier event for young footballers, concluded today with 14 finals at Bolt Arena, wrapping up a six-day mega-tournament that brought together 1,865 teams and around 30,000 players. Known for its high standards, the tournament impressed participants with its smooth organization, top-quality pitches and entertaining side events.

Throughout the week, the international tournament made its mark across Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa, attracting young players aged 7 to 18 from 20 countries, including example Brazil, Iceland, the United States, and Estonia. The event emphasized teamwork, cultural exchange and positive encouragement, with nearly 6,000 matches played on well-maintained natural grass pitches.

As the largest tournament in its history, the 49th Helsinki Cup set the stage for next year’s 50th-anniversary celebration, promising an even more spectacular event in collaboration with the City of Helsinki.
